Connect. Exchange. Shape the Future! The 6th LEC Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum #LSSTF2025 will take place on 26 June 2025 – live in Graz and online!
Shipping is undergoing a fundamental transformation. To meet the IMO’s climate targets, the industry must adopt clean propulsion technologies and sustainable infrastructure. Alternative fuels like LNG, methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen are already in use or under development – but scaling up requires innovation, bold action, and collaboration.
This is exactly where #LSSTF2025 comes in. More than just a conference, it is a technology-driven forum where groundbreaking ideas quickly evolve into real-world demonstration projects. Founded in 2019 and hosted by LEC in cooperation with Hamburg Port Authority together with its subsidiary Flotte Hamburg, the forum has become a leading European platform for green maritime innovation. In 2025, we’re expanding our focus to include inland shipping – a vital topic for landlocked countries like Austria. Drawing from cutting-edge EU and industry projects, the program will feature 17 expert speakers from diverse maritime disciplines.
Under the motto “Bringing you the innovation of tomorrow, today,” we foster open, solution-oriented dialogue between research, industry, and policy.
