Digitalization and Verification of Marine Live Emission Data - R&D Project "DIVMALDA"
The DIVMALDA project aims to create verified digital emissions reporting on ships as a basis for automated emissions trading between shipping companies and authorities such as flag states or port authorities. It focuses on developing a market-ready, verified data pipeline from data collection and processing to analysis and transmission. A proof of concept for new CO₂ sensor technology will be developed and tested to enable robust, cost-effective emission measurements and digitally integrate both existing and new shipboard monitoring systems into frameworks such as MRV, DCS, and CII.
