Scaleable Full Cycle Marine Litter Remediation in the Mediterranean: Robotic and Participatory Solutions

SeaClear2.0 develops an integrated, scalable approach to tackle marine litter, especially plastics on the seafloor. The project combines AI-enabled autonomous robots—operating in air, on water, and underwater—to detect, classify, and collect waste efficiently. Beyond technology, it addresses the full waste cycle, including prevention, analysis, recycling, and policy support, aiming to restore marine ecosystems.
