CAMPFIRE - Development of an Ammonia-fueled Cracker-Engine-Power Unit for Inland Waterway Shipping
Within the CAMPFIRE research project several technologies around the production and utilization of renewable Ammonia are under development. One main focus is set on the development of an Ammonia-fueled Cracker-Engine-Power Unit for Inland Waterway Shipping. Within this project part the cracker and engine development are executed in parallel before the final combination of both technoliges at the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab (COIL) as complete power unit.
Within this presentation an overview of the current activiites and a respective project outlook will be given.
