Peter Müller-Baum

VDMA

Peter Müller-Baum studied civil engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen University, graduating with a degree in both engineering and economics.

He has been working for the VDMA since 2005 as an officer of the Cleaning Systems Association and in the European Association EUnited Cleaning as Managing Director Technical Affairs.

In 2012, Mr. Müller-Baum was appointed Deputy Managing Director of the VDMA Engines and Systems. After two years in the service, he became Managing Director of this association, which represents the interests of German internal combustion engine manufacturers for industrial applications and their suppliers.

Since 2013, Mr. Müller-Baum has been responsible as Secretary General for the business activities of the international association CIMAC, which unites national associations and companies in the internal combustion engine industry from 27 different countries worldwide.

In addition, Mr. Müller-Baum serves as Managing Director of the VDMA working group “Power-to-X for Applications” since December 2018. This working group is the central information, communication and communication and cooperation platform for the P2X community that involves all the important stakeholders and players along the value chain.
