Dr. Sotiris Topaloglou is a distinguished mechanical and marine engineer, rooted in a family of engineers, who started honing his expertise from a very young age. Sotiris’ career journey includes significant contributions at WinGD and Accelleron Industriest now serving as Global Head of Testing and Validation, R&D at WinGD. With a Ph.D. in Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and as a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Sotiris has spearheaded innovations in engine design and digital service products, demonstrating leadership across various roles in R&D, Operations and Service departments. Sotiris’ work is marked by a dedication to advancing engineering solutions, evidenced by numerous published papers and patents.
